The Three C's

Redefining
Culture
We want to highlight aspects of the Purdue community such as the cultural centers and other student organizations that may not have the resources needed to give the Purdue student body their perspectives. By helping these groups, we will inspire new initiatives, through their input, that will allow us as a community to progress forwards both as world leaders and human beings. The resources currently offered by Purdue Student Government are limited and the funding for organizations is hard for student organizations to receive or even understand. We hope to change the culture of Purdue Student Government so that it stands not only for student organizations but also for students who are not represented in their own legislative body.
Enhancing Community
We are aiming to make Purdue Student Government's administration approachable by being not only a support system to encourage students to reach their full potential, but also a place where concerns can be brought to our attention. You are not just another number. Purdue Student Government should lead by example through diversity of experiences and involvement. We hope to create a culture within the executive branch that will be empathetic to the realities of college and promote critical campus resources like Counseling and Psychological Services and Center for Advocacy, Response, and Education.
Instilling Compassion
We hope to provide the student body with compassionate leadership so that Purdue students can feel included and have a sense of belonging here at Purdue. Many students face day-to-day issues from their own personal experiences, which hinder their ability to create the change they want to make on campus. In order to build the Boilermaker community as a whole we want to improve transparency of all members of Purdue Student Government. The first step to implementing this compassionate standard is to emphasize the importance of empathy within PSG, which we will ensure to do throughout our term if we are elected.
